Vacation Rental Description

We aim to provide the perfect set up for either a couple or family wanting a relaxing holiday to a large club group on a cycling holiday in the Pyrenees. We don't live on site but are close enough should you need our help or advice during your stay.

We do offer discounts for large groups - please contact us for more info at allons-y-pyrenees@hotmail.co.uk

The grounds have been landscaped to enable visitors to enjoy the views, with secluded or communal seating areas, a herb garden, shrubs and trees.

-There is parking for up to six cars.

-A certain amount of logs are provided in the rental price. A small charge will be made for extra logs. Timed heating is included in the price.

-Cots and Highchairs are available.

-NO Pets allowed during busy summer months, please ask for other times of the year.

-All linen and towels are provided.

There are numerous, marked walks to be enjoyed without having to get into the car: the beautiful River Arros is nearby, where, if you go quietly, you will see kingfishers and herons. The local lanes and woods abound with wildflowers, and kites and buzzards will be your companions.

Relaxation

The centre is in one of the most peaceful, beautiful areas of France, so just sitting and enjoying the views is guaranteed to reduce stress levels. If you tire of the pool and sunshine, or perhaps after a day of rigorous exercise, there are many spas and thermal baths to be experienced.

Travel Options

Travel Info: The village of Thuy is not difficult to find, and is only ten minutes from the A64 motorway which runs from Toulouse to Biarritz. --- Toulouse is approx 1hr 30 from Thuy, Pau is 40 mins, Biarittz is 1hr 50, Carcassonne is 2 hrs 10 and Lourdes is 25 mins --- Car Hire: By arrangement, transport to and from Pau and Toulouse airports can be provided, but car hire is strongly recommended, due to the rural location of Allons-y.

We do offer a discount for large groups if staying for a full week, please contact us for further details. Airport pickups can be arranged from Pau, Toulouse and Biarittz. A 20% non refundable deposit is required on initial booking, with the remainder payable 4 weeks before arrival (this has been reduced to reflect current financial climate) A £300/370 euros security deposit is required on arrival or with your balance and will be returned to you after the property has been checked through for breakages etc, the property being left as you found it on arrival. Sterling or Euro cheques are accepted, you can also pay by Pay Pal or cash payments in either currency. Payments made in sterling will be subject to the exchange rate.
