Vacation Rental Description
Perfectly located for all year round activity holidays including downhill and cross country skiing in the Winter, fishing, rock climbing, gorge walking and water sports in the Summer, and walking, hiking, VTT, road cycling, paragliding and visits to the spas at Luchon and Les Relax in the comfortable lounge with log burning stove. Games, books, DVDs, CDs and videos are all available on request. However, we ask that consideration be given to all guests staying in the chalet. Access to the internet and emails is available via a computer station in the lounge area. Tea and coffee are available for guests at any time, please help yourself.
Each bedroom is named after famous mountain climbs in the Pyrenees, providing a friendly and relaxing atmosphere for all who stay.
Winter in the Pyrenees is spectacular with white mountains and often bright sunny days. The chalet is situated in the middle of 4 very different ski resorts to satisfy all ability levels from beginner to seasoned skier.
We have a large warm area in the basement to securely store your skis, boots, bicycles, outdoor equipment and dry any outdoor clothing overnight ready for the next day's activities.

Facilities
The chalet has oil-fired central heating in each room and the lounge has a lovely log burning stove crating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere in Winter. There are 3 drives providing ample off the road parking for up to 8 cars in our fenced garden The garden looks out on the local mountains, the most famous of which in the area is the Pic du Gar. Seating and a table are provided for guests to relax, have a drink and enjoy the views. We are only a 5 minute walk to the Garonne River where fishermen love to spend the day together.
Activities
In Winter, the main activity in the area is skiing and snowboarding, although some guests do enjoy walking in the mountains in the snow. It is also possible to paraglide off the local mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenary from above.
Summer offers a host of outdoor activities for guests from horse-riding, walking, cycling, river sports including rafting, gorge walking through to simply relaxing around the village swimming pool or at a local bar for lunch.
There are also historical sites and places to visit in the area such as St Bertrand de Comminge, Grottes de Gargas and Roman ruins.

- Travel Info: We strongly recommend that guests have their own transport to fully appreciate the region and their stay with us. Public transport is very limited.

Our prices vary depending on the season and number of people sharing a room and facilities in the room. One person from 36 - 40 euros per night including breakfast. Two people from 53 to 58 euros per night including breakfast. Three people from 66 to 75 euros per night including breakfast. For French guests we offer the ability to pay by cheque or cash (euros). For all other guests we ask for a cash payment please in euros or bank transfer. Set 4-course evening meal available for 20 euros per person (10 euros for children 2 - 11 years) To secure a booking a 20% non-returnable deposit is required. 10% reduction for stays of 5 or 6 nights. One night free of charge for stays of 7 nights or more.
