We would like to tell you about our “chambre d’hôte” and our location, here in South-West France.

Our domain of 7.5 hectares is situated about 60 kilometers south of Toulouse, on the borders of the Haut Garonne and the Ariège. Here, the air is pure and nature is breathtaking. This area is one of the least populated areas in France and has been called “the Tuscany of France” because of its charming hills and winding roads.
Additionally, we have a mild climate with wonderful summers and moderate winters.

Our nearest neighbours are almost a kilometer away and from our terraces we see just rolling hills, woods and the occasional distant farm.
Here you are still able to hear silence and smell nature.

Rest and resting go hand in hand with sporting and cultural pursuits. In winter you can be on skis within an hour in the nearby Pyrenees , or participate in many other outdoor activities.
Just to the east you will find the land of the Cathares, with its many castles and mythical stories.
There are also many wine growing areas within easy reach, which should not be missed.

We have tried to create our chambre d’hôte in a way which we ourselves would wish for, if we were visiting or holidaying in France.
Our farm, built in 1823, has been fully renovated and is fitted with all the modern comforts. The building is situated in almost the center of the domain, in a park-like setting of 7.5 hectares with meadows, some agricultural land, wooded areas, and a natural well.

The house, which is located on a gentle hill some 450 meters high, has panoramic views and has numerous places to sit and relax, either in sun or shade.
Due to the altitude of the house, the nights are a little cooler than the average, thus ensuring a comfortable nights sleep.

At some distance from the house is the heated swimming pool. The pool measures 4 by 10 meters and has a large sun deck, equipped with comfortable sun loungers and seating.

The accommodation comprises 4 attractively furnished bedrooms. All rooms have a well equipped bathroom.
In the lounge area, there is the eating area, a large open fireplace, a television, a stereo, and a large book cabinet with some English titles.
Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are approx. 30 m2 and include a sitting area. Each of these rooms will accommodate up to 4 guests.
Room 4 is slightly smaller but has a large bathroom. It will accommodate 2 guests.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and all fitted with a large boxspring bed of 1.80 cm wide and 2.10 cm long. (This prevents tall people having to put their head in the bedside table, as often happens in French hotels)

Children:
It is possible to put a baby bed in all rooms.
Speaking of children: with us you will find everything that is necessary to take care of small children. If you wish to use this facility, please let us know when you make your reservation.

Breakfast:
Included in the room rate is a real French breakfast for two. Tasty French bread, croissants, homemade jam, fresh coffee and tea.

Dinner:
Because we are rather remote is it also possible, as a service, to have dinner. This can be enjoyed on the terrace, or in the lounge.
Dinner will be a daily changing 3-course meal. Every morning at breakfast, the menu for that evening will be posted. If you like it, let us know that morning.
