CANTEAU is a CIRCA 1750 Gascon property. It has 4 rental cottages and 2 B&B rooms in the main house.
Each of the cottages are fully equipped and two have wood burning fireplaces making them ideal for year round use.

Our largest cottage (ARAMIS)is an end of terrace, stone cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open plan living/dining room with a full kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have large (160 cm) queen size beds and the third bedroom has a set of twin beds and a small sofa sleeper for a child. The living room also has a double sofa sleeper.
Summer patio/dining terrace & BBQ equipped for 8 persons.
Maximum capacity 8 persons.
High season: Easter, Pentecot (end of may) and June 1 - September 10.

6 persons 900.00 euros per week, including all house linens and towels.

Deposit/security: 150.00 euros.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage (d'ARTAGNAN) is also an end of terrace stone cottage with a separate eat in kitchen and separate living room with a double sofa sleeper. One of the bedrooms has a double size bed, and the other has a set of twin beds. This cottage has 3 entrances, so each of the 2 bedrooms and the living room can be used as sleeping areas and accessed privately. The living room also has a wood burning fireplace making it ideal for year round use.
Summer patio/dining terrace & BBQ equipped for 6 persons.

High season as above.
6 persons 850.00 per week.
4 persons 750.00 per week

Deposit/security fee 150.00 euros.

Our other 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage (GARDEN) is a separate and detached building. It has a large open plan living/dining room with a full kitchen. One of the bedrooms has a double sized bed and the other has a set of twin beds. The living room is also equipped with a double sofa sleeper. This cottage also has a wood burning fireplace for year round use.
There is a private al fresco dining area all around the cottage.
Equipped with BBQ and dining for 6 persons.

High season as above.

4 persons 750.00 per week

Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage (PORTOS) is a middle of terrace cottage and can be used in conjunction with either Aramis or d'Artagnan or rented separately. This cottage has a set of twin beds in the bedroom and a double sofa sleeper in the living room with a kitchenette. This cottage can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 10 yrs.
Summer patio/dining terrace and BBQ equipped for 4 persons.

High season as above.
2 persons 450.00 per week.
2/3 persons or 2 adults and 2 children 500.00 euros per week.

The main house can offer 2 bedrooms, each with a large (160 cm) bed and a shared bathroom.
The nightly rate for 2 persons B&B in high season is 60.00 euros.

Out of the high season we can offer B&B with private bathrooms in the cottages and the rate varies from 55.00 euros for 2 persons to 70.00 euros for 2 persons in high season, all with private bathroom.
Mim 2 nights B&B required.

This lovely property has 4 self catering cottages sleeping from 2 persons in our one bedroom cottage to 8 in our 3 bedroom cottage. We can also offer 2 B&B rooms in the main house and out of high season in the cottages. Groups also welcome. On site facilities include a large swimming pool, lots of recreational area and a fruit orchard with 65+ trees for picking your own all summer. **** New for 2009 is our very own on site table d'hote bistro/rotisseries for evening meals. We can also cater for pic nic lunches too. The village with all amenities incuding our own bull ring is just 3k away. Enjoy local French fetes and festivals and Spanish ones too, including the Corrida and even our own running of the bulls. We have cycles for rent by the hour or half day and an extensive DVD rental collection for that occasional evening in. We welcome children and occasional pets, but NO smoking in doors please. A large guest laundry on site.

We are only 12 K from the famous NOGARO auto racing circuit, one of the largest in Europe. We also have an Ultra lite, single engine and glyder pilotage schools in the region, alaong with helicopter rentals and flights.

Marciac Jazz, Mirande country festival, Vic Fezensac, Mont de Marsan fete 'Madeleine', Condom Bandistas and night markets are just a few of the local activities to be enjoyed. The local Gascon faire of foie gras and magret canard can be fully enjoyed when accompanied with floc, vins de Gascogne and armagnac!

A trip to the beaches of Cap Breton and Hossegor (surfing) and even Biarritz and Arcachon are an easy day's adventure. Or, take a trip to Spain and enjoy the Pyrenees or a day at Lourdes!
The bigs cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse also beckon for a cultural day out while the Candal du Midi will offer a lazy day for boating. Or just lay by the pool, soak up with sun and enjoy an ice chilled glass of
wine!

All bookings confirmed with a 30% deposit. Balance and security deposit due 8 weeks before arrival. Final clean fee collected with receipt of house keys. Security deposit returned within 5 days with no damage. Small deposit for pets. Payment can be made by wire transfer, bank to bank, a bank certied Euro check or by a french bank check. Cancellation after initial deposit paid will be refunded if a booking can be secured for the same period within 30 days. Cancellation after final amoutn paid, 50% reunded if a a booking can be secured within 30 days.
