Whilst retaining original features and rustic charm, it also offers every modern convenience.
Set in its own grounds of 20 hectares, the property is entirely surrounded by mature trees and well kept gardens. It is the perfect spot from which to enjoy rural France's extensive wildlife, including wild boar and deer.
It is an ideal holiday home for families and groups in search of tranquility and privacy. Yet it is only a 5 minute drive to the village of St Clair with shops, bars, restaurants and the all important French morning market. Throughout the summer, there are banquets, festivals and events taking place!
The property is just 35 minutes drive to the large town of Auch and a 1hr 15 minute drive to Toulouse and its International Airport.
ACCOMMODATION:
With a total of 8 bedrooms, this property is ideal for large family groups. The 5 bedrooms in the main house are well furnished and modern whilst retaining much character.
* Bedroom 1 is a large double bedroom and French Doors open out onto a covered terrace with views over the garden and pool. It has an en-suite bathroom with WC and double sinks.
* Bedroom 2 is a Twin room with two twin beds which can be placed together if a large double is required.
* The family bathroom is situated between Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3. It is large with a bath and shower over.
* Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with a King size bed.
* Bedroom 4 is a Twin room with twin beds and an en-suite shower room
* Bedroom 5 is set on the ground floor and is accessed from the Entrance Hall. It has an en-suite shower-room.
* Bedrooms 6 and 7 are in the self-contained apartment which has a separate access at the front of the house in the courtyard. It is ideal for those wishing for more privacy.
* Bedroom 6 is a double bedroom and Bedroom 7 is a twin room.
* There is a shared shower room for these bedrooms. There is also a small kitchenette, dining area and living area.
* The cottage stands just a short walk from the main house and is ideal accommodation for a Nanny or au pair. The additional bedroom, Bedroom 8, has two twin beds. There is also a small kitchenette and a shower-room.
The Kitchen/Breakfast room is large and well equipped. The Orangerie and Sitting Room offer a large amount of indoor seating and are beautifully decorated with French antique furniture and art.
