Large,one bedroomed gîte, just outside village of Tayrac, with use of garden/orchard and 8X4m salt water pool.
Vacation Rental Description
La Bouriotte is the original old farmhouse adjoining our converted barn. It is set in a small hamlet with four other houses at the end of a lane, some couple of hundred yards from the village of Tayrac. Stone steps lead to a large kitchen/diner, a double bedroom, a spacious lounge with a woodburner inset fire and a bathroom with shower over the bath. French doors lead from the lounge on to a vine clad balcony, from which stone steps descend to the garden.
Our salt water pool, set in the quiet garden and orchard, overlooks far reaching open countryside (some 40 miles to the aircraft warning lights on the Viaduct du Millau on the horizon!)
Facilities
Guests are welcome to use our washing machine and tumbler dryer if necessary. Electricity, gas and BBQ are included in the price but a small charge will be made for logs used on the woodburner. You will find a welcome pack of consumables {tea bags, coffee, sugar,(semi-skimmed fresh) milk, butter and croissants, plus toilet paper,kitchen rolls, washing up liquid and soaps etc.}in place on your arrival. If you would like to join us for your first evening meal, please inform us of any dislikes or 'problems'
Activities
This is a beautiful area for walking. It is known as the country of a hundred valleys, so you can imagine that there are not many flat areas but there are some stunning views!

Owners Profile
We were both teachers in England for 25 years, after which we ran a small hotel in Lynton, North Devon, for 10 years.We decided to realise our dream to live in France and found this property which gave us the opportunity to have a self contained gite for family and friends.Several of the guests who stayed at the hotel now stay here each year.
