Set in three acres of lush countryside in a tranquil corner of the Aveyron, Pont Jalbert offers the highest level of luxury and comfort.

Large, airy and very comfortable. In summer, barbecue on the raised veranda overlooking the garden and rolling hills, sun yourself by the pool or find a quite spot to hide away in the garden with a good book or chill out in a hammock by the river whilst the children play on the swings.

In winter, relax in from of the fire on our huge cozy sofas and choose from a wide selection of books or watch UK Sky+ television, including sports, films and kids channels. There is also a good selection of DVDs, board games and jigsaws.

Elegant white Egyptian cotton sheets and bathtowels provided free of charge. We also provide pool towels.

A true House for All Seasons. In summer relax by the private pool or find a hideaway in the garden. In winter chill out by the fire with a glass of wine on one of our huge soft sofas.

The Aveyron is absolutely stunning for walkers. There are hundreds of miles of very well marked and mapped walks of all types. Try a local circular walk or park at Najac station and catch the train down to Cordes sur Ciel, Lagepie, Monteils or Villefranche de Rouergue and walk back. This is a great day out with a picnic.

Nina is a very keen walker and can show you lots of truly fabulous places to visit.

We are in the heart of the Tour de France countryside. If you're a keen cyclist, put the bike on the car and come and test yourself on our hills. The scenery alone will make it worthwhile.

There are markets in the local bastide towns, vinyards to visit, restaurants of all standards from cozy family restaurants to Michelin starred - all within easy reach of Pont Jalbert.

For the adventurous we can offer kayaking, horse-trekking (or lessons if you prefer), mountain biking. quad biking and rock climbing.

There are golf courses within an hours drive including the championship course at Albi.
