Vacation Rental Description
The house, a typical half-timbered construction, has been carefully restored in accordance with ecological principles and in keeping with the village. The interior is modern and spacious and offers a large living room with a comfortable open kitchen, two double bedrooms, each with its adjacent bathroom, and in addition a library with books in several languages as well as various parlour games. Downstairs a pingpong table, four bicycles and a washing-machine are at the guests' disposal. Baby-bed available on request.
The garden of delicate colours and fragrances with the terrace overlooking the river is the perfect place to laze and enjoy the singing of birds and the murmuring of water.

The gigantic prehistoric cave of Le Mas d'Azil is one of the most beautiful sites of the Pyrenees. In the village, the Museum of Prehistory displays many of the Magdalenian artifacts found on the Site.
In the surroundings the idyllic countryside of light woodland and meadows with an amazing diversity of wild fauna and flora is a walkers' and naturalists' paradise, while quiet country roads are ideal for cycling. Excursions offer the opportunity to discover not only the extraordinary beauty of the wild landscape of the Pyrenees, but also the Cathar castles, especially Montségur, the famous Niaux cave with its expressive drawings of animals, St-Lizier and its cathedral and lovely cloister, Mirepoix, an example of 13th-century mediaeval architecture, Foix, Toulouse or Carcassonne, and plenty of smaller yet equally charming places.
From spring to autumn a great number of cultural events take place in the whole region of Midi-Pyrenées.
