The two bedrooms mentioned are in an 17th century Ariege farmhouse located 8kms out of Pamiers in the "terrefort" region.
The farmhouse is in a sheltered location at the end of a 1km drive with beautiful views from each window. The area is very peaceful and tranquil and an ideal place just to chill out. The nearest Autoroute is A66 which is only 10 minutes from the farmhouse although it is not possible to hear the road.
Breakfast is taken in our dining room, the sunny south facing terrace or wherever our guests may like in the garden.
The 12m x 6m swimming pool has stunning views over the valley towards a local equestrian centre about 1 mile away and has a number of sun loungers and sun umbrellas for the comfort of our guests.
In the nearby town of Pamiers there are many good restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The area is steeped in Cathar history and many fortications to see like Chateau Montsegur. The nearby pretty town of Mirepoix is a 25 minute drive.

Double bedroom downstairs has its own private entrance and parking is possible about 3 metres from the front door. This is a slightly smaller room but has its own private sun terrace with 2 chairs and umbrella if required.
Upstairs (1st floor) bedroom is a twin room and has the facility of having a zed-bed (3rd bed). This is a larger room and has views over the open farmland, Chateau La Fitte, woodland and the swimming pool. Fridge.
Both bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms, with shower, WC and sink.
Our guests are able to take walks throughout the 50 acres of farmland and woodland adjacent to the farmhouse.
Pets negotiable.
B&B guests required to bring their own swimming towels. Bath towels & linen provided in the price of the room.
Continental breakfast included in the price of the room, but we provide a full English breakfast at 5 Euros extra per breakfast.
