Vacation Rental Description
The house set in it's own private garden is central to literally hundreds of outdoor pursuits, everything from mountain climbing or just walking, canyoning, canoeing, challenging mountain biking,wing sailing, swimming,golf, skiing,riding,museums, castles, forests, quad biking, donkey trecking,Tour de France 2010, fishing. In addition you can indulge your love of fine french gastronomomy and wines and perhaps a visit to a superb hot spring leisure centre, with outdoor hot spring baths, hammam, sauna etc.
The Mediterranean is 1hour and a half away, Carcassone castle is 1 hour, within two hours there are many golf course, Andorra with it's very upmarket duty free shopping is 1hour 15. Two international airport are within 1 hour (with no overflights). The views and the climate in our region are superb.

On booking a non returnable deposit of 20% is asked. The residue is payable in full 8 weeks before the holiday rental commences. A security deposit of 300 GBP(or equivela1nt in Euros) is required in cash on the first day of the rental period. The security deposit will be returned one week following the rental period by cheque,wire transfer, or paypal. Cancellation policy is that following full payment of the rent, cancellation (for whatever reason) 50% is refunded, if cancellation is effected up to one month before the occupation date then nothing is refunded. We ALWAYS recommend clients to effect travel insurance which will cover cancellations. Concerning deductions for breakages, we take a very liberal view of minor breakages and in the past three years have only had to deduct 40euros from one client. If however the Matisse is damaged - well !!

We have lived in the south of France now for over 10 years and consider where we live to be very special. This is not a 'commercial' let it is our home and consequently the furniture and fittings are of good quality. We are retired now Virginia was a high school teacher of English and Barry an architect.
