Vacation Rental Description
The hayloft apartment is a fully equipped self-contained 2-bedroomed holiday property. It was completed in 2008 and features a balcony facing the Pyrenees. The pool is 10x5m and has ample seating plus the Pool Barn with barbeque for shaded eating and sitting. The property is situated in a hamlet of three houses and is 5km from the mediaeval market town of Pamiers. The flat agricultural land is ideal for walking or cycling. (There are 6 maintained cycles for visitors' use). Ferme Christine consists of the Farmhouse, the Hayloft apartment and the owner's apartment.

The first bedroom has a double bed and the second has two single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and mirrors and bedlinen and towels are provided. The shower room has a modern walk-in 'wet room' shower. The sitting area has seating for four and a TV with the main French channels and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a breakfast bar. The balcony has a table and four chairs. Further facilities provided include barbeque and bicycles.
Activities
The property is near to the Pyrenees and so visitors go walking in the mountains and visiting the many caves of geologic and prehistoric interest. The beautiful nearby medieaval towns of Mirepoix and Foix are well worth visiting, as are the Cathar castles including Montsegur and Roquefixade. Further afield are Toulouse, Carcassonne and the Mediterranean coast. There is a wide selection of excellent restaurants in the Ariege.
