This attractive 18th century 4 bedroom house with original oak beams is located in a picturesque, but not remote location with stunning views from every window. 
 
The house is situated in the countryside but in easy walking distance of the village Lonlay L'Abbaye with adequate facilities including, bakery, butcher, well stocked supermarket, post office, bank, pharmacy etc. 2 bar/restaurants.  
 
The house is well-equipped with a comfortable lounge/diner. A kitchen/diner with double aspect views of the surrounding area. The separate utility area contains a washing machine/tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.  
 
All the bedrooms are spacious and tastefully furnished some with original wooden parquet floors and double-aspect views over the surrounding countryside. On the first floor there is a shower room, basin and WC. There is a large bedroom which contains a king size bed and a twin-bedded room. On the second floor there is a double bedded room with wash-hand basin and lastly a twin bedded room. All bedrooms contain adequate storage including wardrobes, bedside tables, dressing table/chair, chest of drawers. Beds are made and freshly laundered. On the ground floor there is a bathroom/shower and separate WC. 
 
Free to air Satellite TV. Good selection of DVDs, books, puzzles, board games. Numerous garden games - boules, cricket, tennis, volleyball, badminton, catch ball, flying disc, giant jenga/draughts/connect 4 & dartsboard. Four comfy sun loungers and cushions, garden bench/tables sufficient for 8 people. Purpose built barbeque 
 
The house stands in an enclosed area with a large private garden, large patio, barbecue and garden furniture. Ample off-road parking for 4+ cars and is ideal for 2 families.

Visit the historic La Fosse Arthour with it's beautiful waterfall, horse riding facilities and restaurant - a 5 minute drive. The medieval town of Domfront with historic interest and numerous restaurants, bars and cafes is a 10 minute drive. The bustling town of Flers with shops, swimming pool and Castle museum is approximately a 20 minute drive. The spa resort and casino town Bagnoles-de-l'Orne is a 35 minute drive - here you will find lots of restaurants, a lake with pedalos and a golf course. Other places of interest to visit are Ger the regional pottery museum, Saint-Fraimbault a 4 star floral village, Mortain waterfalls, La Ferte-Mace the toy museum and lake. Tinchebray the 'Royal Prison' museum. Visit Tours where you'll find The Stud Farm and Chateau route, the 'land of Lancelot of the Lake' route. Visit the man-made beach at La Ferte Mace. Lonlay L'Abbaye is the perfect location if you just want to read, relax, walk, run or cycle as the sceneric area has quiet roads.
