Our beautiful gite has 3 good sized bedrooms comprising 2 doubles (1 with an en-suite bathroom) and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds in. We can supply a cot if required. The bathrooms have larger than normal showers.

You have a comfortable lounge with UK satelite TV and DVD player. We are also happy for you to use our wi-fi broadband connection if you can't live without your computer! The dining area seats up to 8 people comfortably. The large kitchen is home from home with practically everything you need - if its not there just ask and we will see what we can do!

Outside enjoy the court yard with its grassy area or better still the pool garden which is large enough for the children to enjoy a run around. The pool is open during daylight hours and is HEATED to a comfortable 28 degrees. Enjoy a barbecue and relax with a glass of something knowing the children are safe and sound.

If you like animals then our dogs and cats are more than happy to entertain you but are well aware to keep their distance if you are not so keen! The pony and donkey are always happy to pose for the odd photo call or gentle pat on the head.

If you are extremely lucky you might see our resident barn owl at dusk and possibly even some baby long-eared owls along with the kestrels, buzzards, swallows and a multitude of other bird species that visit the gardens. Not forgetting the lizards basking on the warm granite

There is a large supermarket only a mile away so you don't have to treck miles for your daily provisions. Alencon and all it has to offer is a 5 minute drive.

The Foret d'Ecouves is 5 minutes away and has so much to offer in the way of nature, walking, cycling, riding etc.

The Harras du Pin - the National Stud Farm puts on stunning weekly shows of their amazing horses to music - it is a sight to behold for horse lovers.

Caen and the Normandy Landing Beaches are less than 2 hours north and there are some stunning beaches along this coast line.

Le Mans, best know for the 24 hour Motor Race, is 35 minutes south and has lots to offer.

Paris on the TGV via Le Mans takes just under 2 hours if you feel like an energetic day out seeing the sites and having some retail therapy.

Zoos, water parks, theme parks, all sorts are within easy reach of Alencon.

OR, simply relax by the pool, eat good food, read a book or simmply do nothing - the choice is yours!

We accept payment in Sterling directly into a UK bank or in Euros (please ask for a conversion rate). We are also happy to take payment via PayPal but will ask for the fees to be added on. Once our Terms and Conditions have been agreed we ask for a 25% deposit with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday.
