Vacation Rental Description
La Mare Perot is a fantastic property which has beautiful panoramic views of the Normandy countryside. There is a large terrace at the rear of the property which is perfect for BBQ's, there is also a large fresh water lake (no fishing permitted), an idealic place to sit on the lakes' pontoon enjoying a glass of french wine. The property can sleep up to six people comfortably offering you the perfect holiday. 
The property has two double bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the large landing area upstairs. The bathroom is situated downstairs with a bath/shower over, W.C and an electric towel rail. 
The kitchen is fully fitted and is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, gas cooker and fridge. Leading off from the kitchen is a utility room where there is a washing machine, dryer, freezer, ironing board and iron. 
The dining room and living room have beautiful views of the surronding countryside. The living area is bright and airy with a log burner for those chilly evenings. British satellite TV is also available. 
There is a large landing space between the 2 double bedrooms where the double sofa bed is situated, to keep the children occupied if needed there is a PS2 and several games.

    • Villedieu les Poeles and Brecey are a 5 minute drive away. The must see Mont-Saint-Michel is only a 30 minute drive. Villedieu is not only famous for its copper pots but also for its bell foundry where you can visit the workshops. There is a great pizza restaurant in Brecey, where you can eat in or take away. There is also a good variey of restaurants in Villedieu le Poeles. Villedieu les Poeles has its own leisure pool with water slide, and Champreus zoo is a 15min drive from Villedieu les Poeles. A great day out for the children. The more adventurous can attempt a bungy jump at the Souleuvre viaduct this about a 30 min drive away. The costal towns of Granville and Cancal are close enough for a day trip. Or take a journey through history and visit the D-Day landing beaches.     Prices are in UK pounds and are based on 1 weeks stay. Short breaks are available please contact me for details. Please contact me to check availability and to confirm a booking. a deposit (non-refundable) of 25% of the cost of the rental is payable at the time of booking. The remaining cost is due 8 weeks before the rental date. If your arrival is less than 8 weeks away, I ask for the full payment at the time of booking. A security deposit of £150 is also payable. This will be refunded to you within 2 weeks of your return. I prefer changeover day to be either a Friday or Sunday. Arrival time is 4pm and departure time on the last day is 11am. However I will always try to accomodate your needs. The property should be left in a clean and tidy condition otherwise a cleaning fee of £30 will be payable.
