Garden furniture, 2 bicycles, Outdoor badminton set, Barbecue, Flagged and decked patio area and Off road parking for 2 cars. 
Enchante is a charming detached 18th century stone cottage, recently renovated to a modern and high standard, but yet still retaining many original features. There is an enclosed garden with a large lawned area. The property has splendid views of the typical Normandy countryside, with cows, apple trees and walnut trees. It is ideally located for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, or simply just relaxing in the wonderful surroundings. 
Enchante is within 5 minutes of the local village of Gathemo, which has a bar/general store and a boulangerie. The small town of Sourdeval is 10 minutes away. Sourdeval has a weekly market, 2 supermarkets, bars etc. Historic Vire with its medieval entrance doors, museum, great shopping, an indoor swimming pool and a river is 10 kilometres from Gathemo.Also within easy reach are Mortain, Torigni sur Vire and Domfront. There are many facilities in the area; Lac (lake) Dathee (5 minutes drive) has boating and fishing facilities, plus a golf course. Visit Villedieu - les - Poeles, the bell factory and copper city, or explore the large forest of St. Sever (fishing available) and the 11th century abbey of Hambye. 
Mont St Michel (50 minutes), the National Stud at St.Lo (40 minutes) and Bayeux (50 minutes) are all worth visiting. The really adventurous may wish to try bungee jumping from the Souleuvre Viaduct. 
Discover the endless beaches and dunes of the contentin au Granville, home of the famous pirates. 
There are many lovely, sandy beaches within reach of Gathemo. The nearest is 60 minutes away. The beaches of Brittany, e.g. Dinard, are approximately 1.30 hours drive.  
Perhaps the most famous of the D-Day 'Landing' Beaches is Arromanches, although 'Sword', 'Gold' and 'Juno' are worth a visit. There is a museum at Arromanches which contains interesting facts about the artificial harbor which was built there in the first days after the invasion. You can still see the remains of part of the harbor.  
Arromanches itself is a charming beach community. The village is much like beach towns in England - full of shops, restaurants and tourists.  
Mont St. Michel is a superb example of ancient architecture - and France's premier tourist attraction. The abbey is famous worldwide. There are many things to see and do. The main street with its shops, the museums, the walk around the ramparts with views over the sands of the bay, as well as the spectacle of the sea rushing in to surround the mount at each high tide.

				Low Season Price:	£290 per Week
				High Season Price:	£375 per Week

A deposit of £80 is required to secure the booking. This deposit is non-refundable. Balance is due 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. A security deposit (to cover breakages, etc.) of £70 is required. This will de refunded hopefully in its entireity within a week of your departure. Payment can be made by cheque or bankers draft. Bed linen and towels can be provided at a cost of £8 per head. The price for the cottage includes gas, electricity, water and logs.

this was the first time we had been bac to france for several years and we found this cottage through chez nous it is set in a small hamlet on arriving it was just like it said in the advert it was welcoming and all information was ery handy it was the firsttime my parnts had been an it was special as it was my dads 90th present we canstrogly reccomend it for all family ages as there is something for everybody
The owners are very helpful with answering any queries and we have boked againfor this year 2011 and my parents are looking foward to going
if you want perfect relaxing holiday with all the mod cons and not far from all the local destinations we would highly recomend echante cottage
