The cottage is down a quiet lane in the village of Brouains ,with views across the country side. The cottage has everything needed for a good holiday,Ideal for families/couples wanting to get away from it all for a week or two. The garden with new decking area has table/chair's ,great for relaxing after a day's sightseeing/walking,etc.
There is also a BBQ,or why not treat yourself to a 5 course meal at Auberge du Moulin only 2 minutes walk away.Sourdeval is only 5 minutes drive away where you will find a selection of shops/cafe/restaurants Banks etc.There is a lot to see in Normandy and we are located within 1 hour's drive of most of the popular attractions,eg Mont St Michel Bayuex D-Day Landing Beaches.

Living room is open plan , Satellite TV, with English channel's, DVD player, a selection of book's, a large sofa bed to sleep another 2 people if needed, central heating for those colder night's.
The kitchen is well equipped , including a washer/dryer, large fridge /freezer/ full size oven and hob/microwave/iron/ironing board
A power shower with coloured light's and radio.
Cot provided if needed, or an extra single guest bed.
We also supply instant coffee tea,sugar and milk.
There is the watermill museum/ restaurant 2 minutes stroll from the cottage ,the Calvados distillery is only 10 minutes away by car.The enchanted miniature village at Bellafontaine is only 10minutes away, the children will love it. There is golf and watersports near Vire.horse riding stables are in Brouains.For walking there is Voire Vet (green way)a disused railway track converted into a walkway that goes through some lovely little villages.
Activities
Granville is 45 minutes drive away with a selection of sandy beaches.One hour away is Mont St Michel ,dating back to the year 708, once a monasrty /prison/ it's one of the most popular tourist attractions in France.
Bayuex a mediaeval town, home of the The Famous Tapestry.The D-Day Landing Beaches with lot's of museum's all about WW2 artifact's , vehicles/uniform's etc.
With in 1/2 hour's drive, Champrepus Zoo, 5 minute's drive from Villedieu, a landscaped zoo and garden's to walk through, ending with a child's play area and restaurant.
Or why not visit Paris - train's from Vire take approx 2 hour's.
Sourdeval a short drive away has supermarket/ bank/Boulangerie/ etc. also a farmer's market held on a Tuesday with Normandy produce to try.
