Vacation Rental Description
Le clos Jean is converted into three adjoining gites let separately. "The Finches" and "The Robins" are 3-bedroomed and "The Jays" is 4-bedroomed. also within the grounds is a newly converted gite "Chestnut Cottage" which is 4-bedroomed. All the cottages are renovated to a high standard with many original features, ie Beams, large french fireplace with wood burning stoves. Each cottage has an open plan lounge with views of the gardens together with separate fully fitted kitchens with electric cooker, fridge, micro-waves and all utensils. Upstairs are bedrooms with a variety of layouts to suit family requirements, double and kingsize beds, singles and bunkbeds. the description and layouts of each cottage can be viewed on our websites - www.le-clos-jean.co.uk and www.petitecour.iowners.net  
The cottages are situated within private gardens with swings and slide for children and ample quiet lawned areas. there is ample parking for cars and each cottage has its own parking for 2 cars each. 
Le Clos Jean is situated in the heart of Normandy but within eash access of the ferry ports of Caebm Cherbourg and St. Malo. The gites are also within easy reach by air with regular flights from Dinard to the UK. 
There is excellent shopping within a 5 mins. drive at Le Teilleul with a supermarket, butchers and bakery etc. The medieval towns of Domfrant and St Hilaire are less than 20 mins. drive away and provide larger shopping favilities and open-air markets. 
The area is rural with woodland walks, fishing, golf, cycling and horse riding. The historic town of Domfront, the beautiful beaches of Jullouville and Carolles, St Malo and the tourist attraction of Mont St Michel are only a short drive away. Day visits to zoos, enchanted village, leisure and theme parks are also pupular with many families. 
Restaurants - there are five fine restaurants within the ares including an Auberge which serves traditional French cuisine.

"The Robins" 3-bedroomed sleeps 7 + c0t (downstairs single bedroom suitable for elderly or infirmed)

Le Clos Jean cottages are privately owned and the owners Robin and Jean live nearby and are always on hand to give advise and help to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    deposit of £100 per week per cottage required non returnable. the balance due 8 weeks before arrival.there are no hidden extras. The Robins and Finches £250 to £450 The Jays and Chestnut cottage £250 to £500 Dicounts are available for block bookings of Le Clos Jean and also out of season discounts. Out of season also weekends and will accommodate different arrival times. In season our week is Sat. to Sat. arrival after 4-00pm and departure before 10-00am.
