The 'Tour de Nord ' or North Tower has been refurbished and offers an unusual and unique experience in superb accommodation at a sensible price. Whether you are looking for a romantic break or simply an escape to another time 'Le Chateau du Taillis' welcomes you. The Normandy D Day landing beaches, Bayeux Tapestry are a short drive away. Situated in a National Park, Le Parc Naturel Regional du Cotentin et du Bessin, the Chateau is an ideal base for exploration & relaxation. Also available in 'Les Bohons' Chambre d'Hote (the Main House) are two sumptuous en suite rooms which can be booked individually on a daily basis or together with the Tower apartment for larger guest groups. We will be pleased to discuss your accommodation requirements. A third interconnecting two double bed rooms with ensuite bathroom will also become available shortly.  
 
Details for Tower Apartment: 
This very unusual and very different accommodation consists of six levels inside the tower or turret of the Castle Wall. The apartment is fully equipped and benefits from central heating, full double glazing and open log fire. A stone spiral stair gives access to the rooms. Relaxing in front of the log fire, submerged in the Spa bath or refreshing in the waterfall of the Hydro shower you are guaranteed to feel totally chilled out! Our setting also makes us an ideal location for an extended stay or longer let for prospective house buyers or for those who wish to delve deeper into Normandy past and present.

PLEASE NOTE OUR BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY: A non refundable advance deposit of 25% per week booked is payable to secure the booking. The full balance is required Eight weeks prior to date of arrival. If the booking is made less than eight weeks to date of arrival the full balance is required. A security/damage deposit of €140/£100 will be required upon arrival and will be refunded upon departure in full or in part subject to our satisfactory inspection. If the booking is cancelled 45 to 14 days prior to arrival date 50 % of the rental will be refunded. Cancellation less than 14 days the full rental will be retained. Acceptance of these terms and conditions are required for all bookings.
