A group of 6 stayed at this charming thatched cottage at Easter, it's a lovely rustic cottage with beautiful garden set in stunning countryside. A few of us ran every morning to the nearest town which is Cormeilles which has everything you expect a little french town to have a bakery, a cafe, supermarket and a few lovely reasonably priced restaurants! We were very lucky with the weather so had BBQ's in the garden, the cottage is very well equipped so other than the the food we were good to go! The bedrooms are all very spacious and it was very handy as it has 2 bathrooms!
A car is necessary if you want to sightsee as it's about 20 mins to Hornfleur which is a fabulous port with windy historic streets and lots of lovely cafes & restaurants, or Deauville which has a lovely beach and fantastic shops for those who like to shop!
We were a mixed age group but the cottage is ideal for children as well as couples who want to relax, we will definitely be back!

Pretty cottage situated far from the madding crowd but within easy reach of the coast. (Parking in Deauville can be difficult after 11am!!).
Property clean and all facilities for a pleasant stay provided. Old world bedrooms very comfortable. Kitchen a little small but sufficient. Lots of birdlife and eating outside in the restful garden was great.
Owner gave very clear information about access and lots of information in the cottage about what to do in the area.
Pleasant easy walks all around the cottage. Normandy beaches an impressive must (Omaha a good hour!!).
Nearest small town Cormeilles, 2 restaurants in main street good food and wine (menus 11 Euros and 18 Euros).
Great place for a break away from it all and visits to the seaside.
