Vacation Rental Description

This pretty ivy clad cottage was originally a Pressoir for the crushing of cider apples, which is still one of the major produce for this area. The cottage is situated in the grounds of a 15 centuary Manoir which features in many books on the important houses in France. The gardens of over 4 acres are shared but the cottage is not overlooked.
Our village is small and pretty with a lovely 17 centuary church, but no shops. 5 minutes drive just across the border into the Orne area is Trun, a very typical french village with all the shops and banks you could require. This area was liberated by Canadian Forces in the second world war, and there are many memorials and commerative areas throughout the region, and for anyone with an interest in the D.Day landings, this is the ideal location. We are also just 40 mins drive from the coast, with the very sofisticated Deauvillle and Troville a must see, also
Honflure which is a very picturesque port, with lots of pavement cafes and restaurants and also art galaries, make an unmissable day out. St Pierrer Sur Dives, our nearest town holds the largest market in Normandy every Monday morning.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, the master very large with a king sized bed and a sofa bed and also has a lovely little balcony leading to stairs down to the garden.

The second bedroom is large and at present a double a single and a sofa bed but this can be arranged you your needs.

The third bedroom is smaller situated under the eves of the house but still has room for a double bed.

The cottage has a large dinning room which was originally le wine store area of the pressoir. This leads onto a large lounge area with french doors leading onto a patio. The kitchen is very french and well equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer and micro wave oven.
Off the kitchen is a small shower room with toilet.

On the first floor, as well as the 3 bedrooms there is a large family bathroom with shower.

The Pressoir is unusually large for a holiday cottage and is well equipped with all that is needed to make your holiday stay relaxed and memoriable. The cottage is covered in ivy and is situated in a very pretty village. It is located in the grounds of a 15 century manoir, and shares a 4 acrea garden which has views over the surrounding beautiful countryside.

The cottage is situated in a small, quiet french village, but the activities nearby can be reached with an easy max. 45 min drive. Most are much closer. Please let us know your interests and we will supply you with a more detailed report on distances and what is available

Rental Rates

				Season Rate
				Low Season Price:	£400 per Week
				High Season Price:	£600 per Week

We try to make our charges as simple and straightforward as possible. Christmas, July and August are all considered high season and are charged at £600 per week. All other dates are low season and are charged at £400 per week. We require a 20% deposit on booking which is not refundable, and the remainder not less than 8 weeks before arrival. We offer a 10% discount for payment in full on booking as this saves us paperwork. We do not accept liability for loss damage or injury to either yourselves or your belongings, you must take out you own holiday insurance, and ensure this covers you for loss of deposit should you need to cancell for any reason. The cottage is covered by our insurance for any breakages that may happen, so we do not take a security deposit or any other fee. The fees quoted are inclusive, If you wish us to purchase a food shop for your arrival, this will be the only addition.
