Well equipped kitchen with attractive beamed ceiling and large open fireplace housing woodburner.

The comfortable sitting room is on the first floor - both floors have satelite television and radio.

    • The house has a lovely outside seating area for alfresco dining. The sauna is available on request for a small extra charge. There is a filtered childrens plunge pool - which is available to adults too provided the kids don't mind!

    Activities

    Probably the main attractions of this area are the Normandy landing beaches and the American Cemetry made even more famous by the film "Saving Private Ryan" Both are approximately 20 minutes away by car.

    The historic town of Bayeux and it's famous tapestry is also a 20 minute drive away.

    The surrounding countryside is fairly flat with very little traffic, making it ideal for gentle walks or cycle rides.

    A deposit of 100 British pounds is requested when booking the property with the balance due approximately 6 weeks prior to arrival. The payment includes bath towels, hand towels, all bed linen, electricity and logs during the cooler months.
