Montbosq in Normandy has much to offer with diverse activities, historical places to visit, Roman and Medieval to the second world war, adult and childrens playgrounds. The Hacket Bungy jumpingis only 10 mins away, most types of watersports, gourmet meals, the Atlantic and Channel coasts, so much to pack into a short stay.
"Le Petit Manoir" is a 17th century converted stone farm building with 5 bedrooms, recently renovated to a high standard.
The ground floor is entered by a central door from the courtyard, it is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. In front is a staircase, to the right is a door leading to the open plan living area with a large open fire place, which is grand when lit, there is a doorway beside the fireplace leading to the rear garden which is equiped with the usual garden furniture and a trampoline. There is a barbeque, a small pool for young children swings and toys.
The kitchen layout is compact with gashob and electric oven, extractor,large combined fridge/freezer, dishwasher, separate microwave/grill and wverthing you need including the kitchen sink!!
To the left is a corridor leading to the downstairs bedroom, before the bedroom there is a wetroom which will take a wheelchair.
The living and sleeping areas are separated by the stairway leading to the 4 bedrooms on the first floor. The Master bedroom has a fourposter bed and an ensuite shower room with hand basin and toilet, 2 of the other bedrooms have adult size bunk beds and one has another single bed as well, at the other end of the corridor is another double bed bedroom with a single bed included. All have easy access to a family bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin and toilet.
The open plan dining/loumge is spacious and comfortable, the large dining table seats 12 people, two large 4 seater sofascomplete the seating, there is a TV with english free to air channels and DVD player (bring your own favorite CD's and DVD's). There are books and games for your use. Heating is by electric central heating, the open fire looks nice.
