Chezjeanne is a renovated farmhouse in a rural hamlet in the heart of the Haute Vienne which is one of the three "departments" which make up the Limousin region. 
the house consists of sitting room,kitchen/dining room, laundry room and four bedrooms(on two floors. Two bedrooms have double beds and the other two have two single beds each. One bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom and the others have en-suite shower rooms. there is also a toilet on the ground floor. 
 
The house has been tastefully renovated in order to retain all the original features - fireplaces, beamed ceilings etc. whilst at the same time incorporating up to date kitchen and sanitary facilities. Most of the furnishings are authentically French with some items being hand made. 
 
There is a courtyard garden with views of the village and open countryside. the garden is completely enclosed making it safe for small children. there is a grass play area, a gravel dining terrace and a granite paved sitting area. The garden is shielded from view of the neighbours but gives a real flavour of traditional rural France. A barbecue and ample outdoor furniture is provided. A communal parking area provides for cars to be parked just outside the garden gate.

The house has a kitchen/diner equipped with dining facilities for ten and a fully fitted kitchen area and serving bar and an open fireplace. The washing machine is in a separate laundry/boiler room with its own access from outside. The sitting room is equipped to seat eight and has large fireplace, DVD viewing facilities and radio/cassette/CD player. Firewood is provided and the heating costs are included in the rental at the beginning and end of the season. The heating is turned off during the summer months All linen except beach towels are included in the hire and the house is cleaned at the end of each hire period. When guests are staying for a two week period, linen is provided for a change at the end of the first week. The garden is enclosed and secure for children and parking is provided outside the garden. There is an open air pool at Chateauponsac three kilometres from the house. There is a supermarket 3 kilometres away.

Central France, because of its distance from the coast, is well served with lakes which have swimming,sports,and leisure facilities. Within 15 kilometres of the house there are two such lakes, Lac de St. Pardoux and Lac Sagnat which swimming, tennis, water skiing, volley ball, water skiing, sailing, walking and off-road cycling.  
There are numerous rivers in the area where canoeing can be enjoyed. 
There is a golf course at Limoges, 40 kilometres distant. 
The area abounds with walking facilities to suit all ages and levels of fitness. 
The city of Limoges,famous for its porcelaine manufacture, is the main city of the region and has all the facilities one would expect - shopping, restaurants, theatre, cinemas and museums.

				Season Rate
				Low Season Price:	£300 per Week
				High Season Price:	£600 per Week

A deposit of 25% of the hire charge is payable at the time that the booking is made. The balance is due six weeks before the start of the hire period together with a £150 damaage bond. The bond is refundable within two weks of the end of the hire period less the cost of asny replacements or damage other than that which may be termed "fair wear and tear". Any exceptional cleaning costs will also be charged to the bond. Should the booking be made less than six weeks before the start of the hiring period, the whole amount becomes due immediately. If a booking is cancelled after the balance of the hire has been paid, the balance will be returned and the deposit retained. If it becomes possible to fill the cancelled booking then the deposit will be returned also, less any expenses incurred.
