Vacation Rental Description
The gite is in the courtyard of the friendly owners property, it has its own secluded garden with a plunge pool 3.5 metres by 1 metre deep. The accomodation consists of ground floor kitchen diner and lounge area with a sofa bed and if necessary a Z bed for infants, upstairs is a vanity area leading on to a well equipped shower room with wc and hand basin. The property is air conditioned for our warm summers and has a wood burning fire for the colder nights. It has satellite tv a dvd and cd player, it also has internet access,(ideal for house hunters). The immediate surrounding areas are very rural and ideal for walking or cycling holidays.

    • Attached to the property is a small but well equipped garden. There is a a patio table and chairs, a barbecue and this is also where the plunge pool is situated. We have a private courtyard where there is room for parking. The fire is a lovely wood burning stove which will keep you well and truly snug!!

    • It!s a 10 minute walk into the town of Bussiere Poitevine where there are bakers, butchers, small supermarkets, a bar restaurant, a PMU bar, newsagents, pharmacy, a large hardware store and several other convenient outlets. For prospective house hunters we have a very friendly English speaking estate agent in Bussiere as well as a nursery and infant school. 
     
    We are central to two airports which are both about an hour away, 1 in Limoges & 1 in Poitieres. 
     
    Our larger hyper markets are about a 20min drive away. There are also several medieaval, characteristic towns nearby where you can have a meander around their little cobbled streets. About 30 mins away we have a Martyrs village that was destroyed by the Nazi's which although very moving it is well worth a visit 
     
    There are several beautiful lakes around with beaches for relaxing or if you are feeling a little more energetic they have plenty of watersports going on.

    We accept cheques/cash in GBP or Euros. We require a 25% deposit of your total amount to confirm your booking. We then require the outstanding balance 28 days before your arrival. For a full refund all cancellations are required in writing at least 28 days before you are due to arrive. After this time deposits are non refundable. For late bookings we ask for the total amount in cash on arrival.
