Bosmoreau le Mines - velorail on 10kms of disused railway track. 
Arbre de Arbre at Lac Vassiviere, a treetop adventure course (not for the faint hearted) with 7 different runs for different age/height groups. 
 
The Mont de Gueret has 60kms of mountain bike tracks and walks to suit everyone 
Wolf park at Gueret is worth a visit. 
 
Also there are a number of historic villages and towns. There are a number of markets in the area selling local produce.

Coast/Beach: Number of choices for rivers and lakes. Nearest swimming lake is at St Dizier Leyrenne with small beach approx 5 mins by car. 
 
Far greater water/beach facilities at Lac Courtille, Gueret about 25 mins away by car. Includes paddling pool with fountain, children's play area, extensive trim trail, BBQ area, water sport facilities and cafe. Great children's club runs July/August with numerous activities. 
 
Lac Vassiviere is even better with numerous beaches and water sports, about 40 mins away.

Golf de Bourganeuf, 9 holes. Said to be the most difficult compact course in France.  
Golf de la Porcelaine, 18 holes. Undulating course with picturesque views, wooded, with water hazards. Par 72 yardage 6035. 
Golf de Mortemart, 18 holes. Yardage 5782. 
Golf de Chammet, 9 holes. Yardage 2670. A natural undulating course.
