The gite has a large dining kitchen, with log burner, and cloakroom with toilet. The lounge is comfortably furnished and has an open fire and french doors with access to the garden. Upstairs there is 1 double bedroom and a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds and the shower room. Outside at the front there is ample parking and at the back a small but secluded garden, with a partially covered patio, perfect for BBQ's and relaxing on the wicker sofa with morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

The River Creuse is a short walk from the gite, here there is a beach, safe for swimming, a childrens playground and a bar/restaurant which is open during the high season. The Lac du Chambon is close by and has excellent watersports, fishing, swimming, boating, childrens playground and bars/restaurants. The area is excellent for walking with it's beautiful countryside. The historic cities of Limoges and Poitiers are about 1 hrs drive away. The very moving Oradour sur Glane is a must to visit, it tells a very tragic tale of World War 2 and has been left untouched since then.

One third deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before arrival. If cancellation is 6 weeks or more before arrival the deposit will be lost,if less than 6 weeks we will be entitled to the full cost of the hire of the property. Payment can be made by cheque or Paypal.
