Welcome to Les Granges. a detached stone barn conversion which has been newly renovated to a luxurious standard. The barn is situated at the edge of a small village opposite an ancient church and has breathtaking views over the open countryside and surrounding forests.
The ground floor to the barn has a fantastic open plan layout which measures 15 x 8 meters.It retains many original features of wooden beams and stonework internally and has the original animal stalls forming part of the kitchen.
The lounge is comfortably furnished with 3 large leather sofas, coffee tables, 32" flat screen TV with UK Freeview TV and DVD player. There is a large "Godin" 15kw wood burner.
The first floor mezzanine has an large open area with 2 sofas,a box containing indoor and outdoor games, books and draws for extra storage.
The property has a well equipped kitchen, with a 4 hob electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine, toaster and with all the equipment to cater for 9+ people. There is also a large dining table and chairs.
The property boasts four large double bedrooms.
Bedroom 1.
A large double 4 poster bed, with en-suite facilities consisting of a multi-jet shower,toilet, basin and electric point. There is also a large double wardrobe with draws, chair and bedside tables with reading lamps.
Bedroom 2.
A large double room with twin beds. This room also has en-suite facilities consisting of a multi-jet shower system, toilet, wash basin and power point. There is a large double wardrobe, chests of drawers and bedside tables with reading lamps.
Bedroom 3.
A large double room with a king size bed. The attached bathroom can either be used as an en-suite or as the main family bathroom. The bathroom has a large corner bath with a shower over, a toilet and a wash basin with shaving point. There is a large triple wardrobe in this room with draws. A large " Laura Ashley" leather chair and bedside tables with reading lamps.
Bedroom 4.
This room has a large double bed as well as a single bed. There is a dressing table, large wardrobe and bedside draws with reading lamps.
Also available is a brand new travel cot and high chair.
At the rear of the property is a large patio area, where you will be able to dine Al-fresco, on a large round wooden patio table, which seats 10 people comfortably. The table is equipped with a lazy susan and large patio umbrella. Cushions are provided for all the outdoor chairs.
There is also a large BBQ for your use, along with sun loungers for soaking up those summer rays after getting out of the 16' above ground pool.
There is a also a large grassed area to the rear for the children....and adults to run around on. Or later on in the evening getting out the binoculars and watching the deer come out from the edges of the forest and occasionally into the garden to nibble at the apple trees.
At the front of the property is ample off road parking for up to 3 cars

Shop in some of the old boutiques of Limoges, St Leonard le Noblet or Geuret. Cycle or walk down quite country lanes and tracks. Visit the ancient centers of porcelain and tapestry making,get lost in a giant maze or watch wolves in the wild.
Those looking for more adventurous activities will not be disappointed. Mont Geuret has 64 kms of mountain bike tracks There is sailing windsurfing and other water sport facilities at many of the lakes near to Les Granges including the magnificent Lac Vassivere.
