Pomas is located between the beautiful towwn of Limoux and the city of Carcassonne with it`s world heritage medievil "La Cite".
The village ,about 5mins walk from the property has a new shop, a bakery ,a post office and a cafe and also has a train stop.
The house itself is surrounded by trees and hedges so it is quite private.The main attraction is the swimming pool (10m by 5m with sunloungers) and the summer kitchen with gas fired barbeque where typically the French spend so much of thier time in the evenings,not surprising where this region boasts 300 sunny days per year. As the house is somewhat elevated on the site this allows beautiful views towards the rolling hills nearby and the first foothills of the Pyrenees in the far distance.
There is a television in the living/kitchen area which is open plan and has a sense of space.The kitchen has gas coking facilities,an electric oven,a dishwasher,a double sink and a good size fridge. The bathroom which is bright offers the choice of either bath or shower.A washing machine is located in the garage area under the house. One bedroom has a double bed while the other two rooms have two singles in each.
There are several places in and around the property to where one may retreat including a pebbeled seating area outside at the back,a small conservatory on the same side also,a terrace on the opposite side to these and one on the front.There are also swings for childern in the garden and as there is so much to see and explore in the region there is the security of automatic gates while you`re out.
