This apartment is full of character and is situated in one of the most popular villages in the area,it is not furnished as a let but as a home and is therefor very comfortable and welcoming.
There is a very private terrace where one can have all meals which is easily accessable from both the kitchen and the living room.the study has a single bed which is fine as an occasional bedroom,the main bedroom is light and airy with views of both the montains and rooftops of Thuir.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distances as well as supermarkets etc.
There is a public swimming pool and tennis courts in Thuir.
Golf course are about a twenty minute drive away and the sea half an hour.
Perpignan airport is 15 mins and the train station about the same distance.

There is a fireplace with an insert for cold nights,also electric central heating and fans for the summerthe apartment has a washing mavchine but there is also a laundromat in the village. We can arrange for a cleaner to come in at 12euros an hour if this is neededThere are plenty of free parking areas in thuir but no private parking.

There are plenty of places of interest in this area,we are only half an hour from the coast with villages like Colliour and Argeles nearby.
There are sking resorts like Font Romeu,Pyrenees 2000,and St Pierre del Forcats within an hours drive which during the summer have beautiful walks etc.
There are more than 5 restaurants within walking distance of the property and local bars and pizzaries for take aways so there is everything for making your stay pleasant and trouble free.
Local shops and super markets stay open until 7pm but never forget that everything clses between 12 and 2/3 in the afternoon.
There is always a boulangerie open on a sunday and the saturday market in the place republique is a must.
