The Property 
 
Le Châtaignier, a house built in Catalan style situated in a tranquil valley. A detatched 4 bedroom villa with stunning views. With 120 sqm this is a spacious holiday villa for 8 persons. 
 
The house is seated in a valley on 170 metres altitude and 13 km (8 miles) from the beach. Plenty of opportunities for walks. 
 
The Terrace - The front garden and pavings recently upgraded to sand stone. More pictures online soon. 
Ground floor 
 
The Entrance hall - Access to all ground floor rooms and stairs to the upper part of the house 
 
The Lounge - Tastefully decorated L shaped room that goes in white and soft yellow. Two large sofas and two arm chairs seats 8 in comfort. A decorative open fire at the end of the room. There is a Satellite TV, DVD and stereo. A bookshelf holds a number of books and DVD's.  
 
The Dining area - The second part of the living room holds the dining area. A large oak table (can be reduced in size) and oak chairs seats 8. There is also a baby high chair. From this area you also have access to the balcony. 
 
The Balcony - Mountain view from the second balcony on the back of the house. This area is normally used for breakfast seating area. 
 
The Kitchen - Fully equipped with 4-ring gas stove, micro oven, fridge-freezer, dish washer, coffee maker and much more 
 
Bedroom 1 - The first bedroom is a entrance level bedroom and has a patio door leading out to the front terrace. It is decorated in peach and white colours. It has a built in wardrobe large enough for two people sharing. 
 
Bedroom 2 - Café au lait and white colours decorates this entrance level bedroom with a view over the valley. It has a large built in wardrobe. 
Bath and shower room - Well sized bathroom that also has a wash machine. There are a number of shelves available where you can store your things. A hairdryer is installed for your confort. 
 
WC - Tastefully decorated in same nuances as the rest of the house. 
First floor 
 
The Landing - Access to the upper floor rooms 
 
Bedroom 3 - This is the second floor bedroom facing the road. The room is tastefully decorated in light yellow and white colours and black iron beds and tables. An additional single person sofa bed and baby cot is also available in this room 
 
It has a free standing wardrobe large enough for two people. 
 
Bedroom 4 - This is the second floor bedroom with a view of the valley. The room is decorated in cream white and white colours and is large enough for two people though it is the smallest bedroom in the house.  
 
WC - Tastefully decorated in same nuances as the rest of the house.

Looking for other activities, you will only have to descend from La Vallée Heureuse. Sorède and neighbouring villages offers a wealth of events during the summer. The world unique hand made Perpignan whip is manufactured in Sorède and you are welcome to join a guided tour of the manufacturing. The railway museum displays steam, electric railway and coal mining memorabilia with various working models. It also offers a ride on a miniature railway 
 
Many more activities can be found within a few minutes from Sorède. All types of sport activities, beach activities and cultural experiences.

				Low Season Price:	€450 per Week
				High Season Price:	€1,250 per Week

Accepted payment methods = bank transfer. 25% of rental charge is due one week from the date the booking is made. 75% of the rental charge is due minimum 2 calendar months before arrival. A security deposit of 300 Euro in cash is due upon arrival at the villa. Cancellations accepted as per our terms and conditions. Electricity, gas and water is included in the rental price. Linen are provided free of charge.
