During the summer there is a vast range of water sports along the coast from St. Cyprien to Leucate and fun fairs and aquaparks. In the nearby Pyrenees you will find white-water rafting, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and other adventure sports and plenty of sightseeings and beautiful old villages and towns to explore. At Canet there is a vast beach which links up to St. Cyprien beach. There is a Petit Train which operates from Canet Village down to the seafront until 12 midnight. There is also a nearby ferry service that runs during the summer that will take you down the coast to Coulliere and Argeles. At St. Cyprien fresh fish can be purchased direct from the fishermen at the port daily. There is a large variety of markets on in the nearby towns and villages during the week. There is also evening entertainment at the seafront in Canet during the summer.
