The farmhouse (720 meters above the sea-level) is situaded on the foot of the massif of the CANIGOU , a 2784 meters high mountain.Cyclists and hikers ( the GR 10 is near by ) love this region with its numerous on and off road possibilities.In Montferrer ( 1,5 miles ) you find a tennis court, a crazy golf, a court for petanque and a free swimming pool open in July and August. The community has the narrowest canyon in the world, les gorges de la Fou.
There is a famous professional 18-hole golf course, Domaine de Falgos about 40 min drive from us. A good friend of us has a horse riding center up in the mountains, 40 minutes from the gites.
There are a lot of swimming possibbilities:Swimming pools, rivers, lakes and the Mediterranean see.
At one and a half hour riding there is the verry famous wildlife park of SIGEAN with it's saltlake where singular birds choose to live free. In the bay of ROSAS is also a lovely natural park.
