The villa is situated on the hillside near the vineyards above Cerbere with 180 degree sea views over the Mediterranean from just about every room. The area is ideal for divers, water sport enthusiasts, walkers, hikers, cyclists with many routes leading through the vineyards, along the coastal path or even in to the Costa Brava Spain which is only 4 kms away. There are superb golf courses within one hours drive and there are two diving schools in the village. 
 
Cerbere is a traditional french fishing village with shops and restaurants and a small square where you can sit at the cafe and take in the local ambiance. The area has so much to offer with Barcelona, Carcassonne and Andorra about a two hour drive away. Nearer to home the numerous villages along the Cote Vermeille are very varied and pretty offering a fantastic selection of local cuisine, vibrant markets and pretty beaches. Along the coast just 4kms is the border with Spain offering all of the Costa Brava Resorts Roses, Empuriabrava, Blanes, Toss de Mar, Lloret de Mar and many more. 
 

The local area has so much to offer - in the village there are two diving schools offering lessons from beginers level right through to experienced divers. The next village of Banyuls has numerous water sports rentals - boats, jet skis, water ski-ing, etc.
