This villa is 5km from the medieval village of Arles sur Tech , 50 km from Perpignan airport and 70km from Girona airport. The villa is less than an hour to the beach at Argeles and the picturesque town of Colioure , which was and remains a haunt of artists.The Spanish border is 40 minutes away and the resrt town of Roses is about 75 minutes drive. The house is also ideally located for access to the spectacular golf course at Falgos ( see www.falgos.com )and many picturesque mountain villages with extensive mountain walking. The house would provide a perfect base for holiday makers wishing to enjoy the great outdoors whilst not being cut off from civilisation.

    • There is aircon in all bedrooms plus the two sitting rooms. There are TV's in both sitting rooms and in the main bedroom, with free to view UK channels. There are plenty of places to sit out with comfortable loungers and sunshades. There is plenty of shade on the main terrace for eating al fresco and a barbecue. There are two double bedrooms and one twin and three bathrooms. The main sitting room provides comfortable dining and seating for six.

    • The house is under an hour from the Mediteranean coast and Colioure famous for its use by artists such as Picasso, Derain, Matisse etc. There are beaches here and at many places along the coast. There are many beautiful coastal walks and Spain is close by with the Dali museum at Figueres. Nearby the house is a splendid golf course at Domaine de Falgos, and many varied mountain walks with splendid views. Another golf course can be found at St Cyprien. Ceret, with its weekly colourful market, is 25 minutes drive - a lively town with many restaurants. Amelie-les-Bains is only 10 minutes away and also has a weekly market and restaurants. The local village which is 5 minutes has all the everyday services, chemist, bakers, small supermarket, butchers, etc. There is an attractive river, the Tech, which runs right down the valley. Prats de Mollo which is 20 minutes up the valley is a pretty fortified village, well worth visiting
