2 Bedroom Gite in Montpellier

We offer 2 different Cottages ,"La Forge" and "Le Hameau",they are for 4 persons and situated in a small and calm village.Both have a lot of charme, they are old field-stone house, fully renovated some years ago.The village is situated 25 km in the north of Montpellier.From London there are regulary cheap flights with Ryanair directly to Montpellier.The seaside is about 40 km from our Gites (Carnon Plage),but there is also the lovely mountain river of the Herault, 25 km away, were you can swim and making Conoe.Only 8 km away is a small and clean lake with a restaurant and bar with regulary music sessions. 
Our village is at 190 meters altitude,there are a lot of small streets were you can ride bicycle.The countryside is full of little wineyards of the famous wineregion "Pic Saint Loup", known for one of the best wines of the South of France. In Lauret there are 5 winemakers . You can visit the wineries and taste their red, rose and white wines.In the village and some kilometers around there are a lot of Restaurants with fine meals and tradtionel southern - france dishes. 
You can do here what ever You want: relax in the sunshine,making Randonees in the Garrigue,climbing Mountains,visiting the old and impressionating Cities of Nimes, Montpellier, Arles and Avignon,looking for old roman churches and buildings, visiting during the summer season every day another cocert of classic our modern music, lokking for theater Festvals,simming in the sea with a great wide sand our in the river with refrehing waters and small cascades, throupassing the Camargue with his white wild horses and black torros, watching the Camargue-Cowboys presenting their work with the cows, shortly, everybody of our guest in the last years had found a lot fo pleasure . 
 

The Gite "Le Hameau" is a very old building , like a small tower in the oldest part of Lauret.Its very calm, there are only five famlilies living, and the street is ending there. It has a terasse before the main door, to sit and eat and drink outside, and, some steps under, a small garden to sit and to make barbeque. The second Gite "La Forge" is laying in a big garden, where the owners live too, with two terasses, barbeque, also very quiet. Directly in the village are 2 Horse-Centers: "Le Farfadet" with 12 very gently Camargue-Horses and the Poney Club with funny ponies for fhe childen.
