Set in the heart of The Languedoc vineyards, close to a pretty village, two well-equipped gites on a traditional working wine domaine with large swimming pool. The gites can be rented separately or together to provide accommodation for up to 10 people.
The ground floor of each property is open plan and spacious with comfortable sitting area, dining area and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer and electric cooker. On the first floor are two spacious bedrooms, one twin and one double both with wardrobes and cabinets. There is also room for a cot in either of the bedrooms. There is a modern shower-room, a separate toilet and laundry room.
Outside, the properties each have their own small terrace area with tables and chairs, there is also lots of open space for children to play and a super shaded barbeque area. Some 30 metres from the gites is the large fully fenced swimming pool which works on a chlorine free system to ensure sparking fresh and chemical free water. There is a large terrace and stunning views across the vineyards to the village of Aspiran where you can shop or enjoy a drink in the friendly bar. The village is about 15 minutes walk and really is charming it has its own small street market once a week.

The Area
Domaine de Fabregues is ideal for exploring the region and visiting the historic towns and villages that bring so much rustic charm to this colourful region. . There are restaurants close by at Paulhan, Peret, Pezenas Clermont and Canet, each just a few minutes drive. For lovers of wildlife, spend the day exploring the Camargue with its abundance of exotic birds and wild horses, for the sun worshippers there is a choice of golden beaches all within easy reach. There are many colourful fêtes and local events, which take place in the summer months to give you a true flavour for the region. Local tourist offices provide a wide variety of information on places of interest and a summer programme of spectacles and events

Only 6km away is the medieval town of Pezenas. Here you can explore the winding cobbled streets and can watch local craftsmen blowing glass, making jewellery or potting the local brightly coloured Provencal ceramics. After a morning of discovering the arts and crafts gift shops and artists galleries you will be ready to drop into one of Pezenas's many colourful cafes and restaurants either in the old town square or tucked away in the many ancient twisting alleyways. Saturday is market day and Pezenas offers a wealth of local produce, flower stalls, and colourful clothing accompanied by the sounds of jazz or local folk groups.
Cap d'Agde has some 14 kilometres of fine beaches and many attractions for the children like 'Toonland' and the famous 'Aqualand' with its giant flumes, water slides and wave machine as well as a super 'tots area' for the very young.

As well as beaches, there are beautiful lakes, mountains and gorges within one hours drive. The area has large numbers of medieval towns and villages to visit including St Guilhem-le-Desert and the Cite of Carcassonne. Just over hours drive will take you to the heart of 'Cathar' country with its imposing castles and monastries such as Montsegur and Queribus. Plenty of activities are to be found nearby including golf, horse riding, sailing, fishing and tennis. For the more adventurous the Spanish border can be reached in about 90 minutes and a further hour takes you to Barcelona.

A 25% deposit is payable on booking, the remainder is payable 8 weeks before arraival.
