Creissan, a very charming French village, lies between the mountains of the 'Parc Naturel', and the Mediterranean beaches, a short drive to either, and settled among vineyards as far as the eye can see, truly a unique setting for exploring this region, with rivers that cascade down to the sea, providing water activities, ranging from canoeing and rafting, to leisurely canal trips on the famous Canal du Midi.
A friendly bar provides refreshment, and gives you the chance to meet the locals, and brush up on your French. In the park, behind the Marie (town hall), just a stones throw away from the house, there is a 25 metre communal swimming pool, and an open air theatre, showing intermittent performances, there are also tennis courts also in the village.
In front of the house you will be staying at, lies the old Chateau Creissan, now houses a vigneron, supplying wines to prestigious hotels and restaurants in London and elsewhere.
