In the heart of the Cévennes region, in the Département of Gard, this stone country house, a traditional form of architecture locally known as a “mas,” is open all year round, according to your wishes. For a weekend, for holidays, or simply for a conference, you are welcome to relax on this beautiful domain. 
The diversity of the region and its land are at hand; water sports, horseback riding, as well as nature and gastronomic trips will please the whole family! 
The Fermes de Rieumal “mas” is for rent in its entirety. 
 
The Fermes de Rieumal is one of those places that you could compare to an oasis. There is an uncommon energy in this Cévennes “mas,” where you could easily get the excellent habit of recharging your batteries! 
With 2 single beds and 12 double beds, the Fermes de Rieumal can welcome a couple, a family or a group of friends. 
The rooms of the “mas,” which are naturally cool thanks to the thick walls, will allow you to sleep quietly at night and, by day, sheltered from the sun, to enjoy a tranquil nap. 
 
There is no need for words to describe an enchanting garden, where olive trees, vines, linden trees and flowers surround a swimming pool that you and your children will enjoy. 
Gently sloping at one end, the swimming pool enables the youngest to enjoy a safe bath (always under the parents’ watch!), whereas the oldest can plunge in for a real swim in the other end. 
Just three meters from the swimming pool, you will find an fully equipped summer kitchen: a bread oven, a refrigerator, a gas cooker, as well as water and storage space will enable you to enjoy the setting at lunch or dinner time. 
 
Between pleasure and beauty, you are welcome every season of the year.

Dishes and cutlery, electrical appliances, freezer, stove, ovens, vacuum cleaner, iron, video-recorder. On request: help for household chores, cook, baby-sitter.

Nature activities: 
With forests, rivers, “gourds” (water basins), cliffs, and so on, nature offers her loveliest attire to the visitor who is interested. While hiking, horseback riding, mountain-biking or canoeing, take time to look around you and in your strolls you will discover the fauna and flora of this part of the Cévennes region: birds of prey, turtles, amphibians, chestnut trees and butterflies all make up the local flora and fauna.
