A beautiful restored provencal house dating from the 17th century situated near the magnificent Provence towns of Uzes and Nimes. The house is located in a quiet picturesque village with superb views over the surrounding countryside, it's own private courtyards, outdoor sitting area and swimming pool. It is tastefully furnished and decorated and in perfect harmony with the ancient architecture and traditions of this majestic part of France. All bedrooms are spacious, two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and one has its own separate shower room. All bedrooms have large double beds. Part of the attic has been converted into a fourth sleeping area with a double bed. The restoration, by one of France's leading architects, allows guests to enjoy the authenticity of an old house but in a light-filled environment with all modern amenities. You will find here a wonderful source of tranquillity and well-being.

The surrounding area is one of the most beautiful in France and there are many things to do. From trekking and rafting in the Ardeche to browsing round art galleries. A guide is available in the house for guests to make the most of their trip. Of particular note is the weekly market in Uzes, which is without doubt one of the best in Provence. This takes place every Saturday morning in the historical town centre. 10 km south-east of Uzes is the famous Pont du Gard. The best time to see it is at sunset when the two-thousand year old stones gradually turn to a magnificent golden colour. The cities of Avignon, Nimes and Arles are all well worth a visit. Avignon offers all it’s Provencal charm and the historical past of the period when the Popes were based here (the Palais des Papes is unmissable). Arles and Nimes are more Roman orientated cities (arenas, amphitheatres). All of them have nice pedestrian streets with craft shops to discover.

A deposit of EUR 1000 is also to be paid upon arrival. This amount is to cover any potential damage occurred during your stay and is refunded within 30 days following your departure. If your cancellation reaches us 90 days before the planned arrival date, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged therefore the deposit made at the time of the booking is not refunded. If your cancellation reaches us between 90 and 60 days before the planned arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. If your cancellation reaches 59 or fewer days before the planned arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
