The well restored property is furnished with antiques,has full central heating,open fireplaces & all modern amenities. The Chateau is situated in parkland of 20,000 m2 & the wing has its own private entrance from the village square,a terrace overlooking the countryside with steps leading down to a private landscaped garden which in turn provides access to the 12.5 x 7 metre swimming pool which is shared with the owner when in residence. 
 
Accommodation: An entrance hall with front door from the village square leads into the kitchen which has a larder fridge,freezer, washing machine,dish washer,gas hob,electric oven & a microwave.The dining area has a glazed door leading on to the terrace.The adjacent sitting room which also opens out to the terrace has an 18th.century stone fireplace,comfortable seating & is equipped with satellite T V video & DVD players,stereo & telephone.A spiral staircase leads to the first floor. Bedroom 1 has a king sized double bed,antique furniture & fitted wardrobes & overlooks the countryside as does bed 2 which has twin single beds & a fitted wardrobe. There is a family bathroom with bath & shower. Bedroom 3 overlooks the quiet village square & is equipped with two large single beds,antique furniture,fitted wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with bath & shower. Outside there is a garden room,terrace with marble topped dining table & chairs,garden furniture & barbecue. 
 
Situation: The property is in the hamlet of Lascours which is a small medieval hill village situated in beautifull countryside close to the river Gardon.The next door village of Cruviers Lascours has a wine co-operative,village shop with bicycle hire facility,post office & tennis courts.There is a small supermarket in the nearby village of Moussac & there are several large supermarkets in Ales,about 15 mins away Uzes & Nimes. Uzes is a medium sized medieval town,the premier Duchy of France,which hosts a famous Saturday market & a music festival in July,There are many restaurants.a nine hole golf course & the renowned Sweet museum at the Haribo factory.

Parking is outside the front door of the property which is normally very easy. If required,private parking can be arranged.There is full central heating & logs can be provided for out of season vacations.WI-FI broadband connection is available. The pool is shared with the owners when in residence, This arrangement has worked very well as the owners rarely use the pool until late afternoon and our rental guests always take preference. Linen & towels are provided

About 20 kms away is the famous Pont du Gard,the worlds largest Roman aqueduct spanning the Gardon river which has excellent canoeing facilities,there are the Cevennes mountains nearby for hiking. Good sandy beaches near Montpellier about 50 kms. away for water sports. Cinemas & restaurants in Uzes & Nimes,good shopping in Uzes,Nimes & Avignon. Famous antique markets in Isle sur la Sorgue,superb Roman remains in Nimes, Arles & Orange. Two good golf courses in Nimes. Horse riding,tennis & bicycle hire can be arranged locally.
