Les Planas stands in the foothills of the Cevennes, France's largest regional park of some 200,000 acres. It is wonderful walking country. It is on the edge of the small village of Monoblet, which has a baker, post office, bar and excellent simple French restaurant, 3 courses plus wine for l2 euros per head, children welcome. The little towns of St. Hippolyte-du-Fort, 8 kms, and Anduze, l3 kms, have good shopping facilities, open-air markets, cafes, bars and restaurants. The latter also has a number of antiques shops and an excellent Sunday pouce market. There is excellent canoeing on nearby rivers. Tennis courts, pony-trekking and fishing are also close by. Bicycles can be hired in Anduze or St. Hippolyte-du-Fort. Other attractions nearby include some splendid caves called Grotte des Demoiselles and a steam train that runs regularly up the valley from Anduze to St. Jean-du-Gard. The Carmargue, the coast and the larger towns of Nimes, Uzes and Montpellier are about an hour away.

One of the house's great selling points is a typically French restuarant, 5 minutes walk away. 3 courses plus wine for l2 euros, 4 courses for l8 euros. There is canoeing, tennis, horse riding nearby and the cinema about an 1hour away. Further details on golf courses and all activities are available in an information pack kept at the house.

There is a garden, terracing and a gas barbeque. The swimming pool is 15 metres in length by 4.5 metres wide and fitted with an alarm (as per French law) it is surrounded by paved terrace with spectacular views. Sunloungers, chairs, table etc. There is also ample parking behind the house.

High Season Price : £1600 per Week

£400 deposit to be returned within 4 weeks after departure.
50% of rental cost within 1 week of making booking. The rental is only confirmed after this payment has been received.
Remaining 50%, plus £400 deposit, plus linen charge, 8 weeks before arrival.
Payment accepted by either personal cheque or direct bank transfer.
£25 per week per booking for all linen and towels, (including swimming towels).
