2 Bedroom Gite in Anduze

Mas Sivelou is located in the Gard, one of the southern provinces, part of the Languedoc Rousillon area which is by tradition considered part of Provence. In this ancient 'Mas Cévenol', the local name for a property with farmhouse, are seven luxurious holiday houses (gîtes) created. In these buildings you'll find some old memories like a breadoven and an attic to dry chestnuts, the 'pigeonnier' (pigeonhouse). The buildings are made with stones from the property and built with clay and limestone.  
 
At the property of 10 hectares are many holm-oaks, some old olivetrees en impressive cypresses. Sivelou is located on the edges of the Cevennes at an altitude of 260 metres in a very quiet valley, the access road is rather narrow and quiet. Sivelou's elevated position provides impressive views over the surrounding hills and mountains. Because of the location between the hills we're protected against the heavy winds like the Mistrall and Tramontane. The climate is typical 'midi-climate' with its hot summers and gentle winters. Therefore it's also a perfect place to stay off season. 
 
The swimming pool is situated at a higher sun-terrace. Together with the sun-heating the water stays at a temperature of 23°C , often untill october. At Mas Sivelou you'll still find the serene silence and space and the most beautiful starry skies with no lights on the background from surrounding villages.  
 
Gîte 2: 5 pers. 
This gîte is located in the former 'Grange' (barn). There are two bedrooms with bathroom and a third toilet on the ground floor. The kitchen and living room are at the first floor with an excess to the balcony where you can enjoy the great view of the valley.  
 
Table d'hôtes. 
Twice a week you can join a 'table d'hôtes' evening; a dinner together with other guest at the host's table.  
Caretakers Ronald and Wilma, will give you un unforgetable evening, where you can taste the regional dishes flavoured with lots of fresh herbs. 
 
Groups 
Since there are more gîtes for rent on this property, this is a perfect place to stay with a group. In total we can accommodate 35 people.
