Spacious vacation rental with garden in a peaceful hamlet just 5 minutes from the bustling town of Quillan. The vacation rental has a computer with free broadband internet access, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave and is located in a beautiful area of Languedoc, South France. Child and pet friendly accommodation. Local vacation attractions include walking, white water rafting, swimming in rivers and lakes, restaurants, markets, museums, castles and more.
The semi-detached house with garden is in the peaceful hamlet of Laval only 5 minutes drive from Quillan (a thriving town with shops, restaurants, a theatre, cinema and climbing adventure park).
The vacation rental in Languedoc, South France has original artwork by 3 talented local artists in every room.
The following rooms are on the ground floor:
Lounge with comfortable seating and wood burning stove.
Dining area with table that seats 6.
Computer corner with a computer supplied and free broadband internet access.
Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, double sink, toaster, etc. plus plenty of good quality pots and pans and crockery.
Large storage room (which can also be used to hang clothes or bedding to dry) and is useful for a long-term let.
Bathroom with dimmer switch, large corner bath and WC.
The 1st floor consists of a seperate WC and 3 bedrooms:
King-sized bedroom.
Double bedroom.
Twin bedroom.
We can also provide a cot free of charge, meaning we can accommodate 6 adults / children plus a baby. For babies we also provide a high chair, push chair and plastic utensils.
A range of books and board games are also provided and if you wish to bring a laptop with you, you can connect to the broadband internet access via ethernet cable or wi-fi.
The garden of the French vacation rental is attractively landscaped and includes a table that comfortably seats 6 and a barbeque (BBQ).
Off road parking is available behind the vacation property for rent in Languedoc, Southern France.

The holiday home is well-equipped with computer, broadband internet, dishwasher, washing machine and original art. As well as the larger items, we pay attention to the small things, for example the French holiday home in Languedoc Roussillon has: A barbeque Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, percolator, toaster, kettle and plenty of good quality pots and pans and cutlery. A selection of books, games and toys. An indoor washing line. Bedding, towels and tea towels are supplied free of charge. The holiday home has been recently rewired (meaning there are plenty of electric sockets), redecorated and furnished and the garden has been landscaped.
Activities
Hameau de Laval is a traditional, peaceful French hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside and miles of walks starting literally on the doorstep.
The nearest town is Quillan which is 5 minutes drive away and includes a cinema, theatre, public outdoor swimming pool, climbing mini-adventure park and 2 supermarkets - Ed and Champion. The river Aude runs through Quillan and you can hire a canoe or go white water rafting locally, giving you plenty of vacation activities for your stay.
There are a range of restaurants in Quillan for you to dine out in, to suit a range of budgets.
Languedoc Roussillon is the area of South France where Quillan is based and includes a wide range of vacation attractions - we're roughly an hour from skiing in the winter and an hour from the seaside in the winter.
Other local attractions include lakes, river swimming, castles, museums, markets and more.

The price for your vacation let in Languedoc Roussillon depends on the season, as follows: Low 1 November to 26 April Mid 26 April to 14 June + 27 September to 31 October High 14 June to 19 July & 29 August to 27 September - see Special offer for 2009 above. Peak 19 July to 29 August A £110 or 125 Euros deposit per week secures your booking. Full payment is due 2 months prior to the start of your holiday, or at the time of booking if it is within the 2 month period. We accept holiday bookings from any day to any day with a 1 week minimum duration. We accept payment in Euros, Dollars or British pounds by bank transfer, cheque or PayPal (a secure online payment system).
