Welcome to Aux Bons Amis!
Aux Bons Amis is situated in old Quillan on the Place de la République, a square with a café, news agency, café bar and The Palace Hotel (which has great steaks!). The fresh produce market is held right in the square every Wednesday. Aux Bons Amis is very comfortable with a variety of accommodation to offer. All the apartments have been recently renovated and are equally stylish while retaining the original French ambiance. Some have access to a spectacular roof terrace for entertaining with magnificent views to the mountains and the Quillan chateau which is almost within reach. Sun lounges, tables and chairs and a barbecue for entertaining make the roof terrace an unimaginable delight! The two adjoining buildings that are Aux Bons Amis once housed a bank and private apartments. Now Aux Bons Amis offers 6 newly renovated apartments varying from the grand ‘The Bank’ that includes a stately boardroom and two bathrooms, two spacious 2 bedroom apartments ('Alaina' with 1 bathroom) and 'Aimee' with 2 bathrooms)and 2 fully self conatined studios for those on on the go and needing a more economic alternative.

There is a modern swimming pool just 5 minutes walk from the apartments.
The nearby vineyards and wineries together with quaint villages and a rich history provide innumerable pleasures to explore. For those who like the outdoors there is plenty to do with cycling, hiking, white water rafting, birdwatching and a trip to the beach is just an our away via Perpignan. The ski fields and duty free shops in Andorra and the French mountains (40 m away) are a day trip.
It is on the rail line with a direct link from historic Carcassonne. Carcassonne city and airport is 45 minutes to the north and is the only fortified town in Europe still inhabited, where an enormous old castle stands open to be explored. With the rail link, you do not need a car to get to our apartments as they are only a 5 minute walk from the train station. The nearest Cathar castle is 10 miles away at Puilaurens and there are many other castles in the area.

All of the apartments are fully self contained with everything you need. Shops and markets, restaurants and bars are all withing walking distance. You can unload the car at the door and the parking area is just a minute walk away. Studio J, next to the roof terrace, has an air conditioner and the other apartments are naturally cool in summer and have fans.

Low Season Price : €140
High Season Price : €480 per Week

As there are 6 apartments to choose from, from the grand 'Bank' to studios for 1 or 2 people, the prices cover a wide range. Please contact us as I am sure we will have something to suit your group size and budget. Only 3 apartments are Shown here and listed. Please inquire regarding 'Studio J' and 'Aimee'.

We have 'The Bank'- 3bed,2bath; 'Aimee'- 2bed,2bath; 'Alaina' - 2bed, 1bath; Studio J -double and Studio Zac -single.

Prices are weekly but shorter stays can be arranged (min 3 night stay).

Prices include cleaning, linen and heating. (there may be an extra charge for heating in the very cold months for longer stays).

We require 200 Euro security deposit that holds the booking and is returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure.

The rental fee is payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment to PayPal is preferred - Account name:Aux Bons Amis (email aux-bons-amis@hotmail.com)
We can also receive payment through our bank account. Please ask for details.
