A luxurious retreat in the heart of the Minervois, this traditional French Manoir is available to let on a self-catering basis throughout the year and sleeps 6 people in 3 huge double bedrooms - two with en-suite facilities, and the other with its own shower rooms. The château style house, furnished with a mixture of antiques and modern luxury, has its own private swimming pool in a large south facing courtyard garden enjoying total peace and quiet.  
 
Situated on the edge of Pepieux, it enjoys all the benefits of a typical French village including a boulangerie, general store, cave and bar and yet provides peace and quiet and stunning views over the vineyards and Montagne Noir. The Minervois is famous for its wine and the wine produced at the cave in Pepieux supports this reputation! (But don't take my word for it, come and experience it first hand). 
 
Centrally located in the Aude it is easily accessible, with 3 airports less than 1 hour's drive away, but also perfect for enjoying all that this region of France has to offer. Whether it is the azure blue Mediterranean and its miles of golden sandy beaches, the Canal du Midi or the historical city of Carcassonne, there is something for everyone. 
 
When rented on a 6 person basis the 2nd floor bedrooms and bathrooms are not accesible to the guests. If you require more bedrooms please see our other advert. The facilities provided by the house remain the same

    • The house is furnished to a high standard with a fully equipped kitchen. One the ground floor there are 4 huge reception rooms- the kitchen, dining room, loung and games room with full size table-tennis table. Outside there is a dining area on the terrace with seating for more than 6 persons and a selection of loungers and deck chairs to enjoy the sun.     • Pepeiux itself is a village of about 1,000 inhabitants. In the village it self is a small general store and bakery. There is a bar that does serve food. Nearby is the Lac de jourres which if you didn't want to drive to the fabulous Mediterranean is great. It has its own beach which has a lifeguard during summer months and a restaurant. There is a choice of restaurants- some on the banks of the Canal du Midi in the nearby towns- about 5-10 km away or Narbonne and Carcassonne are only a short 30minutes drive away.

This will be fully refunded, depending on damage and breakages within 10 days.
