Villa Paradis which is a luxury apartment self contained on the ground floor of the villa.
The property is suitable for families and we cater for young children.
If you prefer a larger property,will sleep up 8, in the country, surrounded by vineyards and orchards but close to a village and amenities, but still within easy distance of the beach, then Villa Paradis is ideal.


The villa is about 8 klm from Narbonne which is a famous Roman and Cathedral City. The Midi Canal runs through the centre and there are market days on Thursday and Sunday morning. There is a famous food market in the city square and many shops and restaurants.
There are many places of interest to visit, Minerve is a hill village where the Cathars were massacred in the 11th century. There are many vineyards in the area you are only 40 mins drive from Carcassone which is probably the finest medieval walled city in Europe.
Only 20 mins drive from the villa you can be on the Mediterranean beaches.
The Midi Canal is only 1 klm away were you will find at Somail, small electric boats for hire by the hour or larger boats for day hire. There are 3 restaurants by the canal, a Tourist Information Office , art gallery.
There is horse riding at Ginestas about 10 mins away and cycles can be hired locally. We have 2 super markets, pharmacy, news agents (Tabac) within 10 mins drive and village shops and 2 restaurants within walking distance.

Less than 15 minutes drive away there is a lake for swimming:
Close to the apartment you will find, swimming, boat hire, fishing, cycling, horse riding, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
Less than 45 minutes drive away :
Within easy reach of the apartment you will find sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, a zoo.

The villa was built in 1979 and is set in its own grounds with garden, large courtyard which allows parking for at least 4 cars. This is enclosed and there is a locking gate for security. The apartment is self contained on the ground floor of the villa and can sleep up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, 2 are en suite and the third has its own private shower, toilet and washing facilities next to the bedroom. All bedrooms and the living area have air conditioning and heating. There is a private pool with its own changing room, shower and toilet, safe for children and is quite adequate for cooling off. There is a lake and river swimming nearby, not to mention the beaches of Narbonne Plage and St Pierre. By the pool there is a large pagoda for relaxing with 6 sun beds and 8 chairs, 2 tables are available for family dinning. There is also a barbecue and a sitting and dinning area in front of the house for breakfast in the morning sun. We cater for families and have a cots and high chairs.

On the Mediterranean coast about 20 mins from the apartment you have all the watersports available. There is also a lake about 15 mins away at Homps for swimming etc. There is a restaurant at the lake for snacks and ice creams etc.

Apartment conditions 2009 Deposit of 25% is due for booking confirmation Cancellation. If a cancellation is received 2 months before arrival date, the deposit is refunded less a handling fee of 25%. (a) Any time between the confirmation of booking (i.e. receipt of deposit payment) and 6 weeks prior to date of arrival THE DEPOSIT IS FORFEIT. (b) From 6 weeks to 20 days prior to arrival 50% of the total price (c) From 19 to 8 days, 70% of the total price is due. (d) From 7 days to arrival date the full price is due. (e) For change of date, period of booking or curtailment of stay will be subject to the conditions decided by us at the time. Security Payment for apartment booking A security payment of 150 Euros for up to 6 people, and 200 euros for over 6, is required on taking possession of the apartment. This payment is fully re-fundable at the end of your stay if no damages caused by the tenants are incurred.
