Bienvenue Limoux
This area of France has everything you need to keep you entertained, whatever your interest. On the owner's web-site www.maison-limoux.com you will find a small sample of what is available but you may find that Limoux will keep you amply entertained as it is a real gem of a location. Limoux hosts the longest running carnival in the world 3 1/2 months long and that in the wintertime during the summer, there is entertainment almost every night and it's all free.
Further afield you have Carcassonne Cite a world heritage site and the Canal du Midi (20 min drive) or you can take a trip to Barcelona (3 hours) and marvel at this truly beautiful city that is a perfect setting for Gaudi's art.
I could go on but a little research on the internet will soon reveal why Limoux and Carcassonne have become the places everyone wants to visit again and again.
Bon Voyage
