It is situated in a quiet backwater of the mediaeval village of Lagrasse,officially listed as "l'un des Plus Beau Villages de France" (one of the most beautiful villages in France) but with stunning views of the Abbey and hills beyond, yet only a few minutes walk from restaurants, cafe, village shops and bakery..Adjoining is the main "place" with its 14th century Market Hall and mediaeval galleried houses and the 12th Century bridge leading to the Abbey, .  
 
Ideal for up to six people, the house has three beautifully furnished double bedrooms one with an en suite "wet room" bathroom There is also an exceptionally well fitted family bathroom 
 
One gets the best of both worlds here - halfway between the World Heritage site of Carcassonne's City and the ancient Roman port of Narbonne, a gateway to vast sandy beaches and marinas for sailng enthusiasts and the famous "etangs" (land locked salt lakes)with their Flamingoes and other delights for nature lovers. 
 
An ideal holiday location for people interested in History, Wild Life , Gastronomy,sampling the local Wines or just relaxing in the sun on the terrace.

    • The short staircase up from the entrance hall leads you up to a glorious light and colour filled space soaring up to the roof with mezzanine above. Round the open fireplace spacious sofas give cosy wherecomfort, the white walls provide a spledid backcloth for the Artist's paintings which fill the house with colour. The elegant dining area seats six comfortably and the kitchen area iwith stainless steel "Smegg" fridges, dishwasher and cooker compliment the up to the minute quality of the house. Triple folding doors lead on to the vine covered terrace with its outstanding views of the Abbey.A barbecue and mosiac table for six make aperfect setting for al fresco eating. Deck chairs and loungers also available. The mezzanine has a dual purpose role as a Television and " Home Cinema" viewing area with wide screen TV, DVD player and Sky Box and a study area. Broad Band Internet facilities are available for connection

Special rates and minimum stay periods may apply for Christmas, New Year, and Easter holiday periods
