Gruissan, a small fishermen’s village at the Mediterranean Sea with an historical centre, build around a centuries old tower, “La Barberousse”, where sunburned fishermen, small cigarette in their mouth, still are wondering around in the narrow streets and the authentic market.
Beautiful beaches with fine yellow sand, more then 300 days of sun a year, tasteful Corbiëre-wines, well sorted fish kitchen, bouillabaisse, “fruits de mer”, oysters and mussels direct out of the sea…
Not far away Narbonne, the historical Roman port with its imposing cathedral, the influence of the Cathares with their castles on rocky picks in the Pyrenees, the wall of the city of Carcassonne, Montpellier and Beziers…

A lot to see and to do: and at 50 meters the beach, to lie down for a sunbath and to forget all English bad weather and working stress…
But also diving lessons, surfing, biking, boot trips, horse riding, carting, tennis, beach volley…

And of course, a daytrip on our own sailing yacht, with a pick nick and a remember full dive in the clear blue sea…

We have tried to create a wonderful place where you can spend a sorrow less Holiday.
The 4 persons apartments are on the first floor of an authentic beach cottage all with an independent entry and spacious balconies. There is an independent room for the parents, and a convertible couch in the sitting room suitable for two persons.

We are trying to give you all the luxury possible: beds of excellent quality, big capacity of hot water for showers, air-conditioning, a modern kitchen with big fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electrical oven, 4 gas fires, microwave, “Senseo” coffee-machine, television with French channels and DVD recorder, WIFI internet connection possible, balcony with outdoor furniture and big parasol, barbeque…

The beds are done at your arrival; bed linen is inclusive

In the garden we installed a shower to rinse sea salt and sand after a nice visit to the beach, a swing and a ping-pong table.
And also, we provide you with beach-material as: beach-chairs, parasol, cool-box with cooling-elements and a big beach-nap.


In the communal area we installed a washing machine and wash-lines at your use.

We selves are living in the downstairs apartment and are able to advise you for your sightseeing’s.

At Gruissan-Plage, you will find a baker, a grocery and several restaurants at proximity: 350 meters.
Parking at 30 meters.

Saturdays are changeover days: leaving before 10.00 hrs and arrival after 14.00 hrs.
Out of the high season there are possibilities to change those days.
We presume you are leaving the apartment cleaned, but there is a possibility having the cleaning done by us at your request.

Animals are welcome, dogs at leash, in respect of communal lows. In Gruissan they are very strict as per cleaning up dog excrements. Special bins are installed for that purpose. Dogs are not allowed on the beach in summer time.
Pets are not allowed on our boat.
