Vacation Rental Description
These 3 gites have been lovingly built to create spacious and luxurious holiday apartments. The gites themselvers have all the modern conveniences you would expect yet it still retains all the charm of the original building. There is a large open plan living area with 2 spacious bedrooms. The bathroom has a fabulous large walk-in shower that would put many boutique hotels to shame. Beyond the pretty courtyard and through the secret garden lies the secluded pool area where many hours of fun can be spent.The gites can be rented seperately or if you are in a group why not book them all out together? 
If you do manage to drag yourself away there are many things to see and do in this lovely area of France. The sleepy village of Ferrals is literally on your doorstep with a short walk across the river to the bakery, grocer and cafe. There are also several wineries within easy reach.  
Further afield lie the abbeys of Lagrasse and Fontfroide, and the historical towns of Carcassone and Narbonne. The options are endless - trips to the nearby rivers, lakes & beaches, O2 Adventure Park, Safari Park and caves.  
Besides the many local eateries, beyond Lezignan lies the idyllic Canal du Midi with its many waterside cafes and restaurants.

    • There are two bicycles on the property to use. Children will enjoy the huge trampoline (with a security net) there is also a smaller one for the toddlers/ There are a number of games in the gites for use from Scrabble to Badminton and of course no gite is complete without the obligatory set of boules! There are also plenty of toys and books for smaller children. We provide picnic hampers in the gites and each gite has its own bbq. There is plenty of outside dining space. Guests can feel free to eat away from other guests or pull up a table and share a bottle of wine or two together! There are stacks of wonderful places to visit within easy accessibility from the gites. This is a great base for touring and then coming back to the turquoise pool to relax! We can also set up wine tastings with a Master of wine, wine tours, cookery courses, holistic and beauty treatments in the comfort of your own gites!

    • With the superb location of the gite,being near the motorway exit(but not TOO near!)nothing is too far away. Even skiing can be reached within 2 hours. The beautiful Mediterranean long clean beaches are only 30 mins away, and even nearer are the many rivers and lakes to explore. I can reccommend kayaking in the Black Mountains an hours drive away. Walkers and cyclists will find plenty of trails to explore. The Canal du Midi makes for a magnificent back drop, where you can break for a picnic or sample the local cuisine in one of the many canal side restaurants. History lovers will be in their element as we are right on the Cathar Trail. A visit to the magnificent ruins of Peyrepertuse is a must as is the historic Medieval city of Carcassonne an international heritage site or the charming Roman city of Narbonne. Grottes are beckoning to be explored in nearby Minervois and finally for wine lovers, well, you will be in your element!!

    25% of total booking fee required at time of booking to secure dates. This can be paid in GBP or Euros Balance to paid 6 weeks prior to arrival, unless other arrangements have been made Security deposit to be paid advance on line (£300/300 Euros)this will returned once property has been cleaned and checked Linen & towels provided.Please bring own beach towels. Heating is charged at 60 Euros a week but is not required during the summer months. Electricity is included in the price Change over day is Saturday (we may be able to be flexible off season) The property is available as of 3 pm on your day of arrival and we ask all clients to vacate the property by 11am. We ask that gites be left the way you find them (cleaning products provided) or if you are in a hurry you can use our cleaning service 50E Off season weekenders welcome Long term rentals welcome. Discounts apply - please ask.
